The Sexual
Health Peer Resource Center is an independent, student-run organization
aimed at increasing awareness among members of the Stanford campus and
local community regarding issues of sexual health.
The SHPRC provides information on STD transmission and testing, contraception,
pregnancy testing, and other related health issues. We also offer outreaches
both on campus and in the local community and provide safer sex products
to the Stanford community below cost. The SHPRC also houses a sexual health
library and referral information to other on- and -off campus sexual health
organizations.
Registered Stanford Students may receive 10 free condoms/academic quarter
with a valid Stanford ID. Substitutions for lube samples, female condoms,
dental dams and other non-prescription items are also available. Latex
gloves are available free of charge.
The Safer Sex Shoppe is a student-run center which provides a wide variety
of safer sex paraphernalia and information.
