Stanford's LGBT Community Resources Center

The LGBT Community Resources Center is committed to creating a safe and open Stanford for people of all genders and sexual orientations. The LGBT-CRC offers a range of programs, services and resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ("LGBT") students. Professional center staff also advise and advocate for individual LGBT students, as well as those questioning their sexual orientations and/or gender identities.

LGBT-CRC programs include academic support and mentoring groups; lecture series, colloquia, seminars and mini-courses; dorm programs; support groups; health education workshops; diversity trainings; social and cultural events; quarterly community activities; leadership development retreats; and a range of student-driven initiatives, as well as advising services for LGBT voluntary student organizations.

The center is a popular and widely-used study and meeting area, featuring computing services, library, lounge, stereo, VCR and wide-screen TV. Feel free to drop by during business hours to meet center staff, explore our library, check your email, browse campus resources, or just relax in a warm and affirming space.

For additional information, or to be added to the mailing list, please contact Assistant Dean of Students and LGBT-CRC Director Benjamin Davidson directly at bendavid@stanford.edu or (650)723-5851. All communication will be treated as strictly confidential.

The Queer/Straight Social and Political Alliance

"To unite the queer and queer-allied community at Stanford by providing social events and opportunities for activism."

The Queer/Straight Social and Political Alliance is dedicated to bringing pride and solidarity to the queer and queer-allied communities. We do so by working to foster a social environment that is conducive to meeting new people and to bridging the gap between Queer and Queer- allied students and by fostering political activism dealing with issues that affect our constituency. Our primary goals are visibility, outreach, and friendship. To join the QSSPA mailing list, subscribe to qsspa_list through majordomo.
