About Vaden

Allene G. Vaden, PhD, was a dietician, a university professor, and a mother. Her life's work embodied the same values of care, support, and education that inspire the staff of today's Vaden Health Center. Our new facility, made possible by a gift from the Vaden Family and designed specifically for Stanford students, creates a center for high quality services and provides the highest level of privacy, comfort and convenience.

Services at Vaden meet and exceed the professionally determined standards of the American College Health Association. We are fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and the International Association of Counseling Centers.

We encourage feedback on our services and often make changes based on it. To contact us, use a suggestion box at Vaden or e-mail us at cqi@stanford.edu.
