Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is here to help students who experience a wide variety of personal, academic and relationship concerns.

Services

  • Evaluation and brief counseling, including personal, couples and group therapy (without charge). Students requesting or requiring longer, ongoing therapy incur fees.

  • Workshops and groups that focus on students' social, personal, and academic effectiveness

  • Crisis counseling for urgent situations 24 hours a day

  • Specially trained staff to meet the needs of student survivors of sexual assualt (CSARRT or Campus Sexual Assault Response and Recovery Team)

  • Consultation and outreach to faculty, staff, and student organizations

  • Staff: The staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers
