The Bridge is a group of student counselors providing free, confidential,
24-hour peer counseling services to Stanford and the neighboring
community. Peer counselors are there to listen, to explore feelings
or to talk. The goal is to help you develop your own solutions to
problems or uncertainties. All services are completely free and
confidential. The bridge also offers a variety of workshops such
as Massage and relaxation, Dealing with stress, and Handling homesickness.
Their on going Wellness and Depression Group meets every Thursday
at 8pm at the Bridge.
The Grief And Bereavement site is sponsored by the Office of Religious
Life, Residential Deans, the Help Center and CAPS. All of these
offices offer quarterly workshop for students dealing with grief.
In these workshops students get an opportunity to further learn
about campus resources. They also have the opportunity to share
their grief. To find out about the next workshop, you can join the
grief mailing list. To get on the Grief Mailing List, please follow
the directions that follow: send mail to majordomo@lists.stanford.edu
